By accessing or using the Protexis Command platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Protexis Command is a satellite and cellular IoT device monitoring platform that enables businesses to monitor and manage ORBCOMM satellite terminals and cellular devices. The Service includes device status monitoring, geofence tracking, GPIO port monitoring, power alerts, and connectivity status reporting.
3. Account Registration
You must register for an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. SMS Alert Service
Protexis Command offers SMS notifications for device alerts. By enabling SMS alerts, you agree to the following:
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on device events and your configured alert preferences.
Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS alerts at any time by replying STOP to any message or by disabling SMS notifications in your account settings.
Help: For assistance with SMS alerts, reply HELP to any message or contact support@pro-texis.com.
Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Supported Carriers: SMS alerts are available on most major US carriers.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Transmit any malicious code or attempt to compromise system security
6. Service Availability
We strive to maintain continuous availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. Device alerts depend on satellite and cellular network availability.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Protexis Command and Control Services LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Protexis Command and Control Services LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. The Service is provided for informational and monitoring purposes. Users are responsible for taking appropriate action based on alerts received.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Protexis Command and Control Services LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting customer support.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
